Grading the Knicks’ Offseason: Acquiring Kurt Thomas

Krazee Eyes Killa and Krazy Eyes Kurt... tell me they weren't separated at birth?

Because we’re all slammed with real life at the moment, we figured this was as good a day as any to post our grade on the Knicks’ reacquisition of Kurt Thomas, since there was zero deviation between all of our grades on Kurt.  The Knicks Bricks starting 5, as a unit, unanimously gives Kurt coming back to the Bockers an A+.  Actually, it was just an “A”, but Kurt stared us down until we added a “+”.  The ultimate wildcard and stud low post defender, Krazy Kurt is liable to thump any opponent that ventures into the paint, just because it’s Tuesday.  While his skills arent what they used to be (remember, Kurt was the last man to lead the nation in scoring and rebounding at TCU), Kurt is still a great veteran presence at the end of the pine, an intimidator in the lane and a strong as an ox defender on the low block.  Plus, he’s got just the perfect amount of krazy in him to deter any would be hard asses (looking at you Reggie Evans) from messing with any of the Knicks that will actually have promenient roles.  I’m making a push for him to go all Ochocinco on his name, legally rebrand himself “Krazy Kurt Thomas”, and change his official position from PF/C to “Intimidator”.  Welcome back Kurt, from your friends at Knicks Bricks…  Please dont hurt us.

Hey guys, I love your site and your recent grades of the players. There is one thing that irks me though and it is how Tommy Dee is regularly plagiarizing your site… now don’t get me wrong he is attributing it to your site.. but he is doing it in a way that ANYTHING you guys write go up on his site. I don’t know if you have an agreement with him or not, but don’t let any nice words from him fool you, he is cutting out the middleman and you guys are getting screwed. So for the sake of your site, stop letting him steal from your site.. if he wants to quote you guys it’s fine but he’s taking full articles of yours.. well theres my rant, good day and keep up the good work!

Utter stupidity from Jack P, I clicked on a link from the theknicksblog and that is how I got to read this and many other articles from many different websites all reporting knick news.
I think of Tommy Dee and theknicksblog as one stop shopping for everything knicks, He and his special guests like Moke Hamilton and others give superb insight into knick signings and not to mention the new cba.
In the end we are all one big happy knick family. Keep up the great work Tommy Dee, some guys are just haters but this guy is just a nut.
Oh and by the way I love the fact Kurt Thomas is back, can’t wait for the beginning of the season.

I see your point to an extent, Jack P, but I think that Tommy is actually doing us a huge favor, not ripping us off. We’re still a fledgling blog at this point (only 7 months old), and our page views spike by about a factor of 3 any time P&T or The Knicks Blog or anyone more established links to us. Even though we make no money off of this thing (note the glaring lack of ads…..although that might change if we keep building a decent audience), it is still nice to have as many people as possible coming by the site. This thing is a labor of love for us and we just want to share our thoughts about the Knicks with the largest audience we can. Honestly, when we started this thing, I didn’t think our immediate families would even read us and we’d be gone by March, so it’s thrilling that guys at more established blogs have nice things to say about us and are even aware of our existence.

So, don’t worry on our account, just keep coming by, checking out our posts, contributing to the comments, and tell your friends/family/co-workers about us, and the rest will work itself out. Thanks again!
